From start to finish, the Psychedelic EP showcases a range of DNB flavours, but yet all staying within the same atmosphere thanks to XOLYX’s production techniques. Airy, spacey vocals are partnered with intros which engross the listener into the world being created through his music. Every track is carried by snappy but still weighty drums, filled with intricate grooves to keep the listener engaged, not only this, but every track manages to switch in such a way that it could be seen as a totally different track, but these switches are welcomed and only enhance the EP.
