Unlike it's namesake, the Doppelgänger Z EP is far from a double of anything we've heard before, quite literally the opposite in fact, showing that when it comes to being unique in style, Scartip might just take the title of G.O.A.T. Within the release, each of the 4 tracks presents itself in a different manner than the last, but the combination of haunting synthesis, stripped back drums, and resonating basslines, allow them to be tied together into one singular entity. Upon first listen, you might think you know the direction in which a track is heading, but we're here to tell you that you don't, but what we can say it's almost guaranteed that you'll be left with an uneasy feeling, and we're sorry to say that it doesn't shake off.
