The Heavy Negatives EP is the perfect follow on from OHAREs debut release with us back on OLR003, and from the get-go, not only does this EP showcase the signature style that OHARE is starting to carve out for himself in the scene, but also how he has progressed technically over the past year. Throughout these 3 tracks, snappy drums and groovy basslines are partnered together to create that recognisable sound that is already being welcomed in the genre, and although the release might be called Heavy Negatives, we can assure you that there is nothing negative about this EP. The link-up with Ominous takes a different approach to OHAREs usual production style, but the outcome is still just as weighty, and we definitely hope this won’t be the last collab we hear from this Scottish duo.
